Being the popular space for an outing, Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary is located 38 km (24 mi) northwest of Chikkamagaluru town in Karnataka state, India. Popularly known as Muthodi Wildlife Sanctuary, it owns a 120 species of tree, 250 species of birds and mammals like Tiger, leopard, wild dog, jackal, elephant, gaur, sloth bear, sambar, and spotted deer, barking deer, mouse deer, wild boar, common langur, bonnet macaque, slender loris and the Malabar giant squirrel and range of reptiles.

Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary
Famous for horned Rhinos this wildlife sanctuary was founded in 1940. Apart from one horned Rhino, tourist can have a glimpse of animals such as Indian Bison, Barasingha, Sloth Bears, Leopards, a large population of Indian Elephants and many more. Bird lovers will be able to find a large number of species, including some endangered species. Other best conacentration of this sanctuary is 86 Bengal Tigers.

Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Kerala
