The Red Fort is very popular and also known as Lal Qila is a historic fort in the Old Delhi neighborhood of Delhi, it is a famous representation of India’s independence and sovereignty. The Red Fort was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century, the fort got its unique color from red sandstone. The Red Fort served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors for almost two centuries. The complex houses several structures, including the Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience), Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience), and the stunning Moti Masjid (Pearl Mosque). The fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a prominent destination during India’s Independence Day celebrations.
You can visit Red Fort on six days (Tuesday - Sunday), except Monday.

Ticket price for Indians is Rs 35 and for foreigners it is Rs 500.
