The Lotus Temple, also known as the Bahá’í House of Worship, is a symbol of peace and unity. One of the seven Bahá’í Houses of Worship in the world, the temple was finished in 1986 and is shaped like a lotus flower. The structure is composed of 27 free-standing marble-clad “petals” arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides. All religions are welcome at the Lotus Temple, which is renowned for its calm ambiance. Visitors are encouraged to meditate and pray in this architectural marvel.
There is no entry fee for Lotus Temple.
The timings of Lotus Temple are 9:30 am to 5:30 pm during the months of October to March. While, during the summer season, the temple remains open from 9:30 am to 7 pm.
Mobile Phones and Cameras are not permitted inside Lotus Temple.
